Patience

Patience is a virtue, but I'm not the most virtuous man.

Personally, I have a problem with patience. There is no set limit for me. When it comes to tedious tasks I can either get started and stay committed for as long as need be, or not want to be bothered with it. With people I can give them a chance and get to know them better, or be annoyed from the first glance and avoid them.

Once I'm committed to a task I want it done asap. It's a problem for me when it comes to magick. If I need info, I find myself reluctant to do the research. I want answers and I want them now. If I need something done, I don't feel I have time to get the proper tools for the proper ritual. This is the reason I practice energy manipulation, the energy is always around me for me to use. With meditation I need to meditate for several hours before I can go into a deep meditation with no side effects. Instinctively, I may try to dive in and regret it later.

Because of my lack of patience, I can get frustrated when something isn't done as quickly as I feel it could be, or if finding the answers I need keeps leading to dead ends. Therefore, I must constantly remind myself that keeping calm is the most important thing.

No matter what your path, you must be patient. The more answers you obtain along the way, the more questions you'll have. Learning never stops, not even in death, so be patient.

Does anyone else have a similar problem?

My patience is tested on a daily basis.

Yes, I too get annoyed when things are not being done on the time frame I would like them to or I am forced to "wait" for whatever it is I'm trying to get/get done/ect.

Just have to take it one day at a time and try not to rip your hair out in the end.

I feel your pain. I have been on a quest to meet my Spirit Guide but I keep getting the message that it will happen when it is to happen and not when I bully and connive and manipulate it to happen. It is because I have not learned to be still and allow it to happen, that it has not happened. I am learning :o) Patience is a virtue and only because it shows enlightenment and it is through this enlightenment that our patience will be rewarded with the answers we seek.

So till then, I remain... patient.

Be well

I also want tasks done when I start them, but also I have some jobs take longer then we sometimes think, like sorting the coven forum out, I thought a weekend and it will be done, I wish. Patience is a virtue, but also it shows commitment which is never given up and in that sense your patience is more then you think, I have no patience, I get annoyed if things don't happen straight away, I work harder, I make mistakes and sometimes I have to take a step back and redo that step.

Dav you are a perfect example of impatient people....you make things fast, than you mistake because of the speed of solving a problem and than again you see a mistake in the solved problem and you have to go wayyyyy back and do it again..... One who rushes, mistakes. this is one of my mottos and i am really holding to it...i make things go slow, smooth and with perfection.... But my patience has limits as well, when it comes to babysitting my evil cousins.... LOL than...the devil hides and seeks for shelter >.<
