Alone

As each day goes by at school,
I get more and more alone,
My friends must think im just not cool,
As there never on the phone,
At school i put my head down and work hard,
But when i go out to play they must think im a social retard,
All i needs that missing piece,
To help me find some inner peace,
But i think that girl of my dreams,
will never come, or so it seems.

C.O.O.L Constipated, Overweighted, Out-of-style, Loser! That is what cool means. So cool is bad. Make friends that like you who you are.

Truehunter, I am 40 years old, but I still remember what it was like to be a teenager.

Your Poem is EXCELLENT!

There are many souls in this world of ALL ages who feel alone for one reason or another.

Yes it seems like a sad, emo, or depressing poem, but that is what poetry is all about-being able to express your emotions or the emotions of those around you, being able to move others with your words.

Thank you so very much for sharing!
