In most cases LaVey satanists begin as atheists. That is why its so easy for them to worship themselves and be the way they are...in my case im not so sure there is a ultimate higher power anymore...i believe all gods and goddesses are just thoughtforms that can be beaten and thats been proven. Therefore i hold somewhat the same belief as a atheist...i dont think there is a ultimate higher power and even if there was...they have done nothing for me so why not follow the satanic statements and live a fullfilling life. I read the Satanic bible and saw myself in it. Therefore i declared myself a LaVeyan Satanist...anyway..that was my rant...anyone else want to post?
I am Satanic, in a manner. Not in the LeVayen manner nor in the "evil", "deluded" manner that the public normally perceives Satanists, but Satanic in that I do have what could be called a strong connection with Satanael and though I do not worship that figure, I do hold admiration and high respect for it.

I myself was a LaVeyan once, I do see Lucifer as a spiritual entity. She is the path to enlightenment.

And yeah, Luzifer knew I was a satanist long before. When some guy claimed he was a LaVeyan, and gave false facts, so I logicbombed him with the assistance of Luzifer(Thanks again mate.).
pretty much the same as Luzifer. i highly respect Anton LaVey and his works. though i do not consider myself a satanist per se. i take a lot of things from all religions. including Gnosticism (NOT Agnosticism), Muslim, Islam, Jewish, LaVeyan and theistic Satanism, i respect polytheistic cultures and deities but i do not worship any. I believe there is the ONE GOD who is made up mby all gods and ourselves. I see through god's eye, and he sees through mine.
if you ever want to have a discussion on satanism ill be glad to talk. i have nothing ring with (despite my family and neighbors lol.)
