Woc, marijuana does not help in the process of increasing inner power. It lower the vibrations you experience, the vibrations which are neccessary for meditation or astral projection.

Not to start an argument but I actually find that marijuana helps me meditate.

I'm with D.E. (couldn't remember how to spell your name, sorry) M.j. can help you meditate and astral project if you know what you are doing. It makes it so that your brain only focus' on one thing at a time, and helps drown out background noise....THUS making it easier to preform. I'm not saying go out and buy a dime bag or anything, but for thousands of years Native American Shamans, Egyptians Priests, and so on down the line, have been using natural herbs that grow in their area that hold hallucinogenic properties to "see" the future, to be on the plane with spirits and communicate with them, and other reasons....Don't automatically assume because something is illegal that it can't help you. Cocaine used to be legal and it used to be used to treat certain psychological problems. That was my little fun fact for the day, lol.
