I'm having surgery this Friday and I was wondering if anyone had a spell to numb the pain afterwards? This will be my first time having surgery so I want it to go well. Also maybe a spell to calm nerves (just kidding)?
If your having 'surgery' then I suggest getting some pain meds from the Dr. Why would you want a 'spell' to do what pain meds would be better at ? ( I'm SURE he will be prescribing some anyway) by the way I think you meant to say 'foolproof' rather than what you put if I catch your drift properly......
If you live anywhere near a China-town or a shop with lots of good Chinese trinkets, try getting a hulu gourd bottle. Here's a picture of one; http://colinjong.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/bottled_water_02.jpg
They are a very potent healing symbol in traditional Chinese lore. I've used them, my boyfriend has used them, and both of my parents have undergone surgery and it's helped them too, and they think this kind of stuff is silly.
Of particular interest is that my mom very specifically reports the magnificent lack of pain. She broke her foot, needed surgery to put screws into the bone, and she's been walking around on it (even though she isn't supposed to) with not pain in the slightest.
The gourds are bright yellow when dried and I got one the size of my fist for around $5. You can also get "fakes" made from wood or metal that will work, but I suggest sticking with natural or wood since that element is more conducive to healing.
...and I'm a moron so I forgot to mention what to do with it.
Simply enough, keep it with you as much as possible. Mine came on a cord so I can just hang it around my neck. Little wooden ones can easily be kept in the pocket or strung onto a necklace. Hang it over your head when you sleep at night.
No full as in it will completely work. I know what I meant. I'm very sensitive towards serious wounds and my meds won't completely help. I need something that won't have side effects and that can damage my organs thank you.
For something to 'completely' work that is called 'foolproof'. Meaning that even a fool could do it without problem. There is no such word as 'fullproof'. You did not mention what type of surgery your having. Having 'wounds' delay healing is NOT normal and should be looked into by the Dr. Any surgery done to you would require some kind of pain medication for the aftereffects. Again if your 'organs' are NOT healing normally then again there is something 'wrong' TALK to the Dr !! Most surgeries do NOT involve organs UNLESS your having a 'transplant' which I don't think you are.
... SpellcasterI, unless she's having a foreign object like a pacemaker replaced or fixed, yes, the surgery will involve an organ. Muscles, bones, nerves, skin, glands... those are all organs. It's not just one's "guts" that are organs.
