Christian AND wiccan?

So this is kind of weird, I'm a Catholic, yet I cast spells and what not, I don't worship the other gods accept for God [Christianity] I of course respect all religions, and I also believe a spell is a prayer with props and when I cast one I do it in God's name... I was just wondering if this was weird or wrong in any sort of way? I'm not asking this as some fluffy noob I was being serious

no, this isn't wrong in anyway, I myself worship god and get help from other gods, there's no wrong way to do magick, you just have to be careful in what spells you cast and must know the basics, other then that it's all good.

I do not like religious topics on the site, but they seem to be unavoidable. This exact christain/wiccan topic comes up over and over in the forums. So here, one last (hopefully) time I will address this issue and say what is on my mind. Wicca is not witchcraft, it is a religion. Many wiccans are practitioners of the craft, but not all of them. There are members of most religions here on the site that are casters. I am a pagan, though I was raised christian. One of the reasons I converted were certain passages of the bible that relate to magic and those who practice the craft. I am always curious about christian casters and how they feel about those verses in the bible.

Leviticus 19:26

?You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12

There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

Galatians 5:20-21

Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Exodus 22:18

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live

You don't have to be Wiccan to practice witchcraft.
Witchcraft is not a religion, it does not have the organization or controlled rules. You can be of any religion and practice if you feel it is right.

Many Roma witches are devout Catholics, and theres quite a bit of witchcraft throughout history under Christianity. If you're interested in witchcraft, its likely this is something God has led you to, something that is meant for you.

However, don't let people in the community bash you for being Catholic and practicing, do what makes you happy, and remember that others judgement shouldn't effect your happiness.

It would seem that you cannot practice divinatory arts nor can you idolize other deity or concepts that are not the creator. These conflictions are why I too left Christianity and became a pagan.

You can choose any religon you feel to. There is no need to think of that. You can also be a part of any religon if you have a strong thinking. As you know religons are created by man and he has created disputes among himself and others. I sometimes follow one motto i,e "All are equal".
