Quantum jumping(http://www.quantumjumping.com/lp/subconscious?sr=1&sd=dco&gclid=CM7A2c-S8KgCFRNrgwodx0hVDw) sounds suspiciously like Astral Projection. Am i right on this? It sounds like someone is trying to sell AP secrets, which you can get online for free, to gullible people. Insights please?
I don't pretend to be an expert on AP, but from what I've studied and been taught, astral projection is the sending of your spiritual or astral body out of your physical body, where it then is free to travel either our physical plane or the astral plane, the dreaming, perhaps even fey? But, though these are different planes of existence, they are still within our Universe. They are not seperate Universes unto themselves.
I can see where you would think this, but theres not other versions of ourselves on different planes, theres just the one you, at least in this Universe
Your physical body houses the astral body and your soul. Astral Projection is when you move your consciousness from your physical body to your astral body. The astral plane is very much like our physical world however you are seeing it through astral eyes. You are in a sense...a spirit who has the ability to go back to their physical body.
Quantum jumping is theoretically using your astral body to "jump" to different dimensions(very different from the planes of our dimension). It is a scientific theory that such dimensions do exist but has yet to scientifically be proven. In the magickal community a theory is that if you are a witch here...you are a witch there. Some witches have even reported running into themselves while on the astral plane and returning with knowledge on how to better their lives. So basically that witch ran into there self from another dimension, meaning they(the one from the other dimension) learned how to Quantum Jump.
Now...to make a note..i am not saying this is what i believe. Just theories. However...if quantum jumping is possible...it is very different from astral projection. Its just that astral projection is required(popular opinion) to quantum jump.
