To meditate is not an easy task. And this is the first thing to do when creating a spell. You need to clear your minds of any thought, while focusing on the spell you wish to create and the after effects of the spell. For newbies, you might find it hard to meditate, so try meditating for at least 10 minutes while focusing on your spell. After meditation, pick up your pen and write whatever comes in your mind concerning the wording of your spell. Now your spell is finished, test it to know if it works.
Tips in creating a spell:
1. Faith and belief are the keys to creating an effective spell. If you don't believe that your spell will work or you are having second thoughts, then probably your spell won't work.
2. Sorry to break this secret to you, but if you are writing spells to become like one of your superheroes in your comics, then it won't work out. While writing spells, you should note that fantasy spells are out of the questions. So as time travel spells, teleportation spells and physical transformation spell. Magic cannot alter the creations of nature. So transforming into a fairy, animal and elves, drawing a dragon on paper and casting a spell on a rock to turn into a dragon egg, shooting lasers from your wand like in the Harry Potter series are against the rules of magic.
3. To make your spell easier to memorize, try writing them in rhymes eg.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star
How I wonder what you are
Note that here, star and are rhymes, so look out for rhyming words to add to your spells.
4. Consider adding prayers to your deities when writing a spell, if you feel that they serve a significant purpose in the efficiency of your spell.
5. Try using symbolic magical items like crystals, candles etc. When casting spells, because they help amplify the effects of your spells.
6. If you wish for your spell to seem more magical and mystical, then after writing it, try translating it to a different language like Latin. You can use any translating device for this.

Just a way to improve your psy wheel. Telekinesis is hard as it is, so this may calm the air around your wheel so beginners have an easier time manipulating the energy around it to make it move.

Take the base of your psy wheel and put your choice of glue on the bottom, sticking it to the inside of the lid of your jar. The lid of your jar is now the base. Set up your psy wheel as normal, then place the jar on top and secure. The air around your wheel is now more calm than before, and it is much tougher for outside influences to alter the state of the wheel. Will help with beginners telekinesis, as now your energy can directly alter the wheel without contending with other natural forces.

Kinesis abilities aren't usually worth the effort. They tend to get minimal results from a lot of effort and can be INCREDIBLY straining (we know people who get nosebleeds when they use telekinesis for even small objects. But, it's still possible, and who knows you might have some good reason for wanting to learn... not sure what, but that's your problem. So here's what we know on the stuff.
This is a very basic guide for starting out. Technically it could be applied to other kinesis abilities but you'd have to change up a lot of the materials and stuff. Say, a cup of water instead of a candle for hyrdokinesis.

To start, it's best to meditate for an incredibly long time. Reach out to the world, and connect with the element of fire. Feel it as part of yourself, an extension of your soul. Push your astral body into a place you associate with fire, maybe even the edge of a volcano, so that you can feel the heat all around, absorbing you and becoming part of you. Imagine the results you intend to get from the practice in the ritual- but of course, don't expect anything too extreme for your first time. Try to get in touch with any fire-related deities or spirits you follow that can grant you some help.
When you come out of your meditation, begin by lighting the candle. You can also perform a prayer at this stage, but if you don't have a god or goddess to reach out too it's not strictly necessary.
Once the candle is lit, the true work begins. As you come out of your meditation you must remember not to lose touch with the world and the elements, as you should reach out with your magick towards the candle. Visualize the flame flickering the smallest bit, jumping up or being pushed around by your fingers. See it as a part of yourself, able to move like your head or arm.
Good tricks to start out with are making it flicker in certain directions, making it go down as if being pushed by a finger, extinguishing and relighting it (both incredibly difficult)
Don't be discouraged if results don't come immediately, or even ever. Personally, we haven't mastered any form of kinesis ourself. It's a tricky art, and generally not worth the effort put in to just make a candle flame move, but if you can find a purpose then good on you. This ritual is an incredibly basic one, and like all magick can be molded to fit your needs- you can add chants or crystals or whatever you think may help in your journey. But stay safe when you're playing with fire.
