In an hour of Mercury (either day or night), boil water mixed with finely-chopped cinquefoil. While it boils, crush up bits of watermelon in a large container, until there are no more large chunks. • It is well known among practitioners of magic that cinquefoil, also called potentilla, is under Mercury and known to increase eloquence and communication skills, to the point where simply carrying it on your person allows one to receive any favor requested of them.

In an hour of Saturn, take a thin paintbrush and dip it in myrrh oil, whether purchased or (ideally) homemade. With it, write "CHNEOM" three times on a strip of linen. • Saturn is associated with myrrh, Saturday, and the number 3, as well as slowness. In this case, the powers of Saturn cause your target to be "slow to anger."

When it comes time for the dog to eat, make a small meal for yourself. Mix a third of your meal in with the dog's food, then draw blood from your right hand or arm and mix that in, as well. Feed the dog the mixture, and it will be a faithful companion even to the grave.

TO REVERSE/UNDO: Wipe down the alter with salt water and say 'I cleanse this altar from its enchantment.'

For this working you will pick a tarot or oracle card which represents what you want to reflect back to yourself.
