Crystals can be used in ritual; here is an example using Rose Quartz to invoke love.
You may need:

  • 4 pieces of Rose Quartz
  • 1 large Amethyst
  • Candles and candle holders
  • Silk cloth

    First, place your crystals and four candles on a table covered with a silk cloth. Place one candle to the north, welcoming the spirits of that direction as you light it. Then place the others to the south, east, and west, again welcoming the spirits of each direction as you light each candle. Ask that these spirits act as guardians and keep you safe.
    Second, take your Rose Quartz crystals into your hands and sit facing your table (if the crystals are large, do one at a time.) Close your eyes and quietly attune to the crystals. Let their energy flow through your hands, up your arms, and into your heart. As the energy reaches your heart, feel it open and expand. Touch the crystals to your heart. Rose Quartz is a powerful heart cleanser and healer, so allow your heart to be purified by the energies of the crystals.
    Then say, out loud: ''I am a magnet for love. I welcome love into my heart.'' Place the crystals around the Amethyst on the table and say out loud: ''And love into my life.'' Sit quietly for a few moments with your eyes focused on the crystals. When you are ready to complete the ritual, get up and blow out each candle in turn, saying: ''I send your light and love into the world.'' Either leave the crystals on the table or place them around your bed.

    #472 - how to temporarily soothe a sneeze cough.

    For those of you who know what a sneeze stuck in your throat feels like, I am very sorry. This might help you. For those of you who havent, you probably think this post is pretty batty... well, it sucks okay? Here's the recipe.
    You may need:

  • grind these into a powder:
  • 1 part patchouli,
  • 1 part pink rose,
  • just under one part or 2/3 parts ground black pepper,
  • 1/2 part cinnamon,
  • 1 sprig of thyme.

    ''WHAT!? These are just things that will make me sneeze you lying JERK!!''
    Well pay the hell attention! It surprised me too!
    I originally smelled this, practically inhaling it to sneeze instead of that God awful cough gag that comes with a sneeze that is stuck in your throat!
    This pot pourri recipe (a lovely aphrodisiac incense by the way! ^_^) Actually soothed my throat the more I inhaled it.
    What's strange is that usually it has a spicy sneezy and even a slightly burning sensation in every other instance besides the sneeze cough.
    ...I know it's weird, but it works. Don't like it? Well, I'm just suggesting it so you don't have to try it!
    Allergic to any of these ingredients?
    Don't freaking try this then!

    this is a spell were you can charge your crystal with luck!

    1: Put Warm water in the bowl.

    2: put the Bowl of warm water over your Green/Yellow Pentagram.

    3: Put the 3 candle around the bowl one on eatch side but dont put one by you .

    4: Before lighting the candle put the crystal in the warm water.

    5: Then before you put the glitter in say this 2X. ''With this Glitter i summon with in the gods and make this glitter the key of luck.''

    6: Put the Glitter in there and move it around with your hands in the water. and say this 2X '' Oh Please. Oh please Make this Crystal my lucky Stone. thats all i ask for . So moat it be!''

    7: Get your hands out of the water and then leave the crystal in there for 24 hours also yes you can blow out the candles if you wish!!


    (Can someone try this and see if it works! and yes this is my first spell i just have a feeling this one will work! cuz im kinda gift with making it as well)

    You have to really love and appreciate yourself. If you want anybody else to love and appreciate you, that's where it starts. It doesn't start from meeting someone to fill in the missing parts of your self. So you want to embrace and love yourself.

    You have to really love and appreciate yourself. If you want anybody else to love and appreciate you, that's where it starts. It doesn't start from meeting someone to fill in the missing parts of your self. So you want to embrace and love yourself.

    First, place a photograph of yourself when you were a child in the center of your altar. Then sit in front of it and you remember who that kid was, and the things that you really loved doing; and you open your heart, and you give to that child, all the things the child needed and didn't get. Whether it was affirmation, or affection, or expressions of love, or opportunities to spend more time with your parents; whatever that was, you go back and you essentially relive those key moments, and you - now, as the grown up you - take the roll of the adult, or the person who could provide those things. You can write it out; put it in your magical journal.

    What you're doing is a symbolic enactment. One of the best ways to do a love spell for yourself is a bath; because water is the element of love.
    So you go to the kitchen cabinet and you pull out a number of ingredients. And you can put them in a white handkerchief, or a red piece of cloth. Red: symbol of love, passion, desire; which you need for yourself.

    Grab some cinnamon, then lavender, which is very relaxing. Then add some rosemary and some peppermint which is great for cleansing and purification. After you put that in, go to your tea cabinet, and you pull out a tea bag. Open it up, and add it to the mixture of herbs.

    And what you want to do is use your nose; because the artistry of spell casting is very sensual. If you want to grind them together, you would grind it in a clockwise manner, Using a mortar and pestle, but you may also use the butt end of a knife.

    Grind them together; put them back in the cloth; tie it up with a little pink ribbon, or a red ribbon; and run a warm bath. Then dump in the herbs and then soak. You can also add candles; red and pink will do to represent love.

    When you get out of the bath, look yourself in the mirror and tell that child that you love them.

    Have it flow down and expand around you creating a shield.
    When it is big enough say this:

    "There is one power in this universe and I
    Am the perfect manifestation of that power as such
    I will the boundaries of my aura to be strong and healthy
    Repelling all negative energy while replacing with positive healing energy.
    Inside these boundaries nothing can harm me for I am filled with the
    Strength of the goddess by my will so mote it be and it is so."


    Now have the boundaries grow smaller and smaller till it is your core
    And have it return to the ball above your head.

    This spell is for those who have a psychic connection with fire. This spell can help before using spells so you have a better flow of magic.

    Picture the fire lighting up and burning.
    Your entire body.
    Now picture as it stops burning all the ash fall to the ground.
    Now you are purée with the light.
    And warmth of the flame as you now are one with it.

    (Might not work, not yet tested) it is a spell that brings a person of your description to come love you.

    Write down the qualities in a lover you desire on the sheet of paper using the red pin or marker, be specific. Do not use any names for the person. fold the paper and place it in the envelope. Next, take the rose petals and hold them in your right hand. Close your eyes and imagine yourself happy and in love, squeezing the petals tight in your hand. Keep imagining this scene for about 2 minutes or more(longer is better). Open your eyes and place them in the envelope, seal it, and then seal it with a kiss. Place the sealed envelope in a safe place and NEVER open it again. Wait for your lover to come to you. Once you have gained the love of another, destroy the envelope by burning it and burying the ashes.
