#2 - Get the powers of an achroite

Gemstone: Achroite Tourmaline There are a plethora of different names and categories for the Tourmaline gemstone family, although these are all generally divided into the following sub-groups: Dravite, Schorl and Elbaite, which is named after the Italian island of Elba. Achroite Tourmaline is a member of the Elbaite sub-group of Tourmalines. Birthstone Month: Tourmaline is one of the two gemstones associated with the month of October. Zodiac: Being one of the two accepted birthstones for the month of October, Tourmaline is one of the zodiac gemstones for Libra and Scorpio. Chemical Symbol: The general symbol for Tourmaline is (Na, Ca)(Li, Mg, Al)(Al, Fe, Mn)6(BO3)3(Si6O18)(OH)4 Chemical Make-up: Achroite Tourmaline is made up of Sodium, Lithium and Aluminum Brorsilicate elements. History & Lore: The name Tourmaline is widely accepted as being derived from the Singhalese expression tura mali, which when translated means “stone of many or mixed colors”. Tourmaline is often referred to as the rainbow gemstone, due to the huge amout of colors that it is available in. This was certainly believed by the ancient Egyptians who believed that when Tourmaline traveled from its home in the earth's core to the surface, it did so along a rainbow, which subsequently gifted the gemstone with all of the colors of the rainbow. Tourmalines exhibit piezoelectricity and when these stones become warm they become electrically charged – positively at one end and negatively at the other, acting like a magnet and strong enough to attract small particles of dust or ash. It is for this reason that the Dutch of old used Tourmalines to clean their pipes! As with most gemstones, ancient civilizations credited Tourmaline gems with magical and mystical powers, including having the power to guard against danger and misfortune. Tourmalines are said to have an especially strong influence over friendship and love, lending permanance and stability to both. Tourmaline gems help to amplify psychic ability / energy and are an excellent aid to increasing self-confidence and understanding. Tourmaline is believed to help assist with tranquil sleep, calm nerves, improve concentration and creative processes and to be an aid to curing cancer. Achroite Tourmaline is said to be especially effective at helping the wearer achieve a more harmonious relationship with higher beings/Gods and goddesses. Availability: Tourmaline is a very widely available gemstone, with deposits occuring the world over. Whilst the occurance of very high quality, well-colored natural Tourmaline is rare, modern gemstone enhancements and treatments ensure that heat-treated natural Tourmalines are both available and priced at a level making them accessible to all. Of the many Tourmaline varieties available, the occurrence of natural Achroite, or colorless Tourmaline, is somewhat rare when compared to the other Tourmaline varieties. Sources: There are known Tourmaline deposits throughout the world including, Afghanistan, Africa, Brazil, Italy, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Nigeria, Pakistan, Siberia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and the United States (California, Connecticut, Maine and Utah). Evaluation: Tourmaline (regardless of variety) is rated at 7 – 7.5 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness and as such is suitable for all jewelry uses and is considered durable enough to be worn everyday. Found in an amazing variety, the sheer number of available Tourmaline colors is second to none and unmatched by any other gemstone. Tourmalines can be found in shades of blue, black, brown, colorless, green, orange, pink, red, yellow and other colors in varying shades and hues, varying from completely transparent to opaque. In addition to this there are also known occurances of bi-color, tri-color, multi-color and “Cat's Eye” Tourmalines, ensuring that the Tourmaline truly is a gemstone that is available in a color to suit all styles and tastes. Achroite Tourmaline is the colorless, or near colorless Tourmaline variety. A Tourmaline gemstone viewed from different angles will result in differing color intensities being visible. The only one thing that you can be sure of is that the deepest coloration will always be shown along the stone's main axis. When selecting a Tourmaline, go with the color that you like but generally try to steer clear of any stone that is cut too dark. Arguably the most desirable and valuable Tourmalines in today's market are known as “Paraiba” Tourmaline. These are vivid deep blue to bluish-green in color and originate from the Paraiba state in Brazil. Expect to pay a premium for this variety. There is also currently strong demand for the “Verdelith” Green Tourmaline and Pink Tourmaline (Pink Rubellite). Demand is also increasing expotentioally for many of the varieties of Bi, Tri and Multi-colored Tourmalines, most notably “Watermelon” Tourmaline, which are bi-colored stones with a green border enveloping a red center. Common Cuts: Owing to the fact that Tourmaline crystals are long and narrow in shape Tourmaline gems are most commonly, although not exclusively, cut into square or rectangular stepped shapes. Routine Enhancements: Tourmalines are often heat-treated in order to lighten colors and to remove “silk” (a form of natural imperfection / inclusion). Some colored Tourmalines actually transform into other Tourmalines (most commonly the Achroite Tourmaline variety), during this heating process. Care & Cleaning: Use warm, soapy water and a soft brush to clean Tourmaline. Ultrasonic cleaners are generally safe. Never use chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid or ammonium fluoride to clean Tourmaline because it can erode the stone. Much like many gemstones, Tourmaline should be kept away from prolonged exposure to extremes of heat and light as this can cause permanent color change.

#3 - Get the powers of an amethyst

Alternate Names & Name Spellings: "Sobriety Stone" Keywords: Psychic, Sobriety Hardness (Mohs): 7 Color(s): Purple in various shades, Violet Lustre: Vitreous Transparency: Transparent/Translucent Common Locations: Brazil, Africa Amethyst is a purple quartz believed by the ancient Romans to prevent drunkenness. The word amethyst comes from the Greek word "amethystus" meaning not drunken, or intoxicated. Amethyst is a purple quartz. Crushed amethyst was used by the AncientGreeks and Romans as a way to ward off intoxication. One story is told that partly this was due to the fact that the Romans sometimes put amethyst in their wine. Then the wine could be watered down and still retain its purple color from the stones within. That meant less alcohol, and thus, less intoxication. Both the Greeks and Romans made drinking cups of amethyst and wore talismans of amethyst to prevent intoxication. There is a Greek legend of how amethyst got its purple color. Once Dionysus was so annoyed by Artemis that he set his sacred tigers upon a maiden attending her shrine. To preserve the maiden, whose name was Amethyst, Artemis petrified her in sparkling quartz. Lamenting this virgin's demise, Dionysus poured a the contents of his cup over the statue, which immediately became infused with the purple of the grape. Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience, and peace. Amethyst is used as beneficial when dealing with legal problems and money issues, which can lead to prosperity and abundance, though it is not the best known prosperity stone. In the psychic and spiritual realms, amethyst is an excellent all-purpose stone that can increase spirituality and enhance intuition and psychic powers of all kinds. It does this by making a clear connection between the earth plane and other planes and worlds. Amethyst is also excellent for meditation and lucid dreaming. It is used to open one's channels to telepathy, past life regression, clairaudience, clairvoyance, and communication with angels. Amethyst also protects against psychic attacks, especially during spiritual work. Amethyst is not only a psychic protection stone, but is also used to protect one from thieves, and to protects travelers. Emotionally, amethyst is used in crystal healing to help heal personal losses and grief, bringing one gently past. Amethyst has a gently sedative energy that ca promote peacefulness, happiness, and contentment. It also is said to bring emotional stability and inner strength. This stability and strength not only helps one hold firm in one's life, but it can enhance flexibility and cooperation. To be flexible at need is a sure sign of strength. Amethyst is very well known -- as from the ancients -- as a sobriety stone. It has been used for millenia to prevent drunkenness, and is used to assist in getting rid of addictions to alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc, and destructive compulsive behaviors of all kinds. Physically amethyst is said by spiritual healers and mystical lore to heal the withdrawal symptoms of any sort of addiction, help with headaches, insomnia, arthritis, diabetes, pain relief, circulatory system issues, endocrine system problems, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, immune system deficiencies, asthma, phobias, pregnancy and preventing miscarriage, menopause, PMS, and general healing. Amethyst is associated with the third eye and crown chakras primarily, but can also open the heart chakra. As a variety of quartz, amethyst has the energies inherent in quartz, as well as its own unique vibration. Amethyst is a crystal whose energy can be multi-faceted. It can be as gentle as a petal or as wild as a storm. Many seem to see it as always gentle and calming. It certainly can be. Amethyst is a type of quartz, though, full of all the energy and power of its parent stone. Don't hesitate to use Amethyst when great power is needed. It can bring in that energy with both force and balance.

Okay, well I have quite a bit of anxiety and have often suffered anxiety attacks and I have found this works for me to relieve my anxiety:

Place herbs in the cauldron and cut up with knife. Add boiling hot water. Light candle placed in front of cauldron. I then say ''I, In my humanest from, call forth the powers of this earth and ask them to bless this potion with the ability to aleviate anxiety and instill in the drinker a calm, sober mind. I add a stone of amethyst for sobriety, aventurine for manifestation, jade for healing, and onyx for centering. These stones will further this potions ability.'' I add stones, and rub my hands together rapidly to create energy. Chant ''Calm, serenity, peace, happiness.'' When enough energy has been created, move the ball of energy towards the potion and place it inside. Move hands around the ball, adding all your energy to it while chanting ''calm, serenity, peace, happiness''. When your energy feels drained, pick up your wand. Say'' With this wand, I bless this potion with the ability to take away the drinkers anxiety and pain and instill in them a calm, sober mind.'' Stir the potion with your wand, and when energy feels depleted, bring up wand and suck excess potion off the end. Say ''I thank you, great earth, for the gift you have given of letting this potion banish anxiety in the drinker. Blessed be.'' Blow out the candle. The potion may now be drank, or stored for later use. Any excess should be returned to the earth's ground, and not thrown away.

First, if you have a wound, lay down and stick up the body part that has the wound. If you have an illness, just lay down

Next, say this with your eyes closed, ''(First name), (full name), please heal my pain/illness.''

After saying that, your bandages should feel like they're coming off. If you have an illness, you should feel like you're being touched. If you feel one of these, that is the healer.

While feeling this, take 3 deep breaths.

When you want them to stop, open your eyes. Thank them. Then you should feel better.
