The first thing you need to do is to be totally relaxed. Close your eyes and meditate for a minute or two. Then open your eyes, look at your body and picture energy from the universe absorbing into your body and absorb until it's in and surrounding your entire body.

After that, put your hands on the wound/cut/bruise. Chant: "sana vulnere tolle dolores et auertere" 4-6 times Chant this while picturing the energy going from your hands into the wound.

The size of the cloth must be fit to the part that needs to be cured, because you have to tie the cloth around it. So hold the cloth in your hand and say this: "Pain be drained, Relief be gained. " X 3 times. Then tie it.
