Over the past couple of days, Ive been receiving many emails from people asking where they should start to learn magick, so I thought Id make my first article regarding that. One thing you must keep in mind is that nobody can spoon feed you the information, you need to make an effort if this is something you want.
First of all, Id like to answer some FAQs
How can I transform into a mermaid, vampire, fairy, etc. ?
I know you may have heard this already, and you may even refuse to believe it but the thing is, you can NOT transform into another creature. Everything you see in TV shows isn't real. Magick does not enable one to transform.
Will spells not work if you don't use crystals, herbs, candles, etc.?
They will still work if you put energy into them. Usually those items are only used to charge your spell more, but they will still work if you just say them.
How many different types of magick are there and how will I know which path to choose?
There are many different types such as herbal, elemental, etc. In terms of which path you want to go on, that's something you have to discover on your own.
So, some tips I have for beginners are as follows:
Grounding And Centering - Meditation

Meditating trains your mind to focus on one thing, visualize it, and collect all your energy. This will be helpful in casting spells so I suggest you meditate everyday.
Use all the sources available to you
If your'e currently reading this, it means you've tried to find a source to help you so you're already one step in. Basically, what Im trying to say is that you need to find resources to help you. I suggest you try finding books on magick as there are many that are available online as well.
