This is a list of Theological Demons. The purpose of this article is to educate Christian Witches on the entities inhabiting the abyss, not to encourage demonic practice.

Samael: Samael is the Angel of Death in Judaism, he is known as ?the Head of Satans? and is believed to be the original form of Satan in Abrahamic religions. In Judaism he Carries out God?s judgement by collecting the souls of the dead. He is God?s Judge and Judicator, carrying out the less savory tasks of God by punishing bad people and testing the faith of the Israelites. He is known to mate with the Demoness Lilith as well as the other 3 Queens of Hell.

Lilith: Believed to be the first wife of Adam, Lilith was banished from the garden of Eden for not submitting to her husband?s will. She was turned into a Succubus by God and she married Samael (The Angel of Death). By mating with Samael (and collecting the Semen of young sleeping men) she gave birth to many demons in order to fight the Angels of Heaven. Demons who serve Lilith are known as Lilin, which are hostile night spirits. She is believed to cause miscarriages in pregnant women.

Beelzebub: Known as ?Lord of the Flies?, he is the demon prince of gluttony, and is believed to be a demonized version of the Canaanite God of Storms: Baal. His name is a combination of Baal and Feces, implying that the Hebrews called him that as an insult to the Canaanites that worshiped him. Beelzebub is often associated with insects and filth. He is one of the members of the Trinity of Evil, and some believe he is synonymous with Satan.
