Casting Instructions for 'Summoning A Djinn'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • fire
  • bell

Chant the following to a fire:

"Spirit of fire, spirit of smoke, spirit of cleansed air, djinn of the purified winds, I summon you now. So mote it be."

Ring the bell three times.

How long does it take for this spell to work? I'm just curious.

This seems a little incomplete, but you should feel its presence during the ritual, if not within the days/weeks following the ritual. I would cleanse myself, cast a circle, meditate, do this spell, continue to meditate a short time more, leave an offering [whether or not you feel its presence] then give thanks, ground, and open the circle. I would do a bit more research on djinns just to be safe [you should know how to defend yourself if needed, and how to make one go away once your interaction is complete, as well as what they're like, and how to interact with them]
