First you need to make the room dark or dim, then make a circle around you. You can used anything to make a circle such as: rope,chalk,long ribbons,string or even clothes! Once you're done with the circle, get any candle with the color you wish you're tail to be. Then take a pen or or sharp object to inscribe a pentagram then write your full name in the candle. Next,you will need a bowl or cup with some form of water that represents you're power. For example: cyrokinesis- ice,pyrokinesis-hot water,hydrokinesis-normal water. Then, place your symbol in the bowl. Then say this:

"Mermaids,witches and Neptune;
There is only one thing that I ask of you.
I wish to be a mermaid
with a ____ tail and the power(s) of ____,
Along with gills to breathe underwater.

My symbol is the key to my tail and power(s),
But they will be gone if lost for more than 2 hours.
Now I'd really hate to beg and plead,
But I want more than anything for
You to meet these needs.

At the strike of midnight,
I will get my powers and tail.
