Simply saying ''I want to see'' will not give you visions.

Is this froze time but for your own perception number to does this even freaking work I just want to know I gave him a lot of fights and this will really help me in combat

I don't think this specific spell works, but you could try skrying to see outcomes for events. [though those aren't always crystal clear images either] As for fights, ignoring things like reporting the attackers, you could try protections, bindings, cursing your enemies, even invisibility spells [those ones won't make you physically turn invisible, they will cloak your energy so people overlook you]
