While that phrase originated in 1775 as a jab at Britain from American colonists, it has been taken by white supremacist as a vague threat toward anything or anyone they deem as ''wrong.'' This is a dog whistle phrase that alludes to hate groups. It is not funny. It is the cry of cowards who hope to spread hate to feel superior when they are pathetic fearmongers.
