First, it would depend what kind of spell your doing. Spells involving the full moon are usually done for workings where the full moon's energy has to do with things being "completed" or the goal is achieved, or something similar. Whereas spells that use the new moon do so because it's energy is good for commencing actions. Also, results will depend on the witch, their own knowledge , what they know how to do in order words, the energy they have available , the time they have to do the working, how the working is carried out. Like some witches might cast a spell via verbal charms and because of how they practice that works the best for them, others might use candle spells because they like that they can spell the candle , then light it and let it burn down and the spell is cast, as maybe they don't time to do a ritual at exactly the full moon or new moon , etc. So they do the spell on the candle which allows them to have a sort of "saved for later" spell, then lighting it and letting it burn down releases all that power so they only have to remind themselves to light the candle on the night of the full moon or what ever it is. there are many more factors but that will depend on the specific spell , the technique level/ how "good" are you at magick? been doing this 10 years or 10 days will make a difference. Also remember that celestial objects and such are like "power boosters" , 100 * 0 is still 0, you have to put energy into it (the spell) the moon by itself will not cast a spell, it gives power to your spell. I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if your still confused.
