Pendulum Dowsing

I have a silver pendulum, I get some good accurate readings of my eye colour, and questions I know are true. Telling it to tell me the truth but I'm wondering a couple of things.
1. Do you have to be in a circle when using a pendulum because personally I never have.
2. Do spitrits disrupt readings? I'll be asking questions and then it spins really fast and won't stop that's in my opinion telling me a spirit is present. Or something has residual energy there.
3. What's everyone's opinions about the source of comuticating with pendulums. Electromagnet feild? Spirit energy? Our own superconsious?

1) I don't know of anyone that has done it in a circle, I never have, and it worked fine.

2) A spirit can disrupt things, though it could also be you flinched or moved.

3) I think it could be some of all three you have written.

No. Circle would just create a protective bubble.

They can. My friends and I used to talk with spirits with a pendulum and while none of them cut in line, I know Rori used to intimidate spirits to move on. [like if they were making us uncomfortable, taking too long, or we wanted to know something about Rori he refused to answer but the other spirit knew so Rori would intimidate them into not speaking] The rapid spinning is a sign of extra energy. You should sense a presence while doing this [with my friends we could feel a hand or something touching us. Rori would jab his icy hands through our back. Elmira would sit in our lap because she was a child. Auntie would place her hand gently on our head. That sort of thing] You might also sense them in the room, but they need to attach to your energy to work the pendulum.

If you feel no presence it could simply mean you're not attuned to sensing spirits yet, or there's a pocket of energy you stumbled on [say your arm just passed through a spirits body]

All of that, I guess? [except electromagnetic. It can be affected by muscle spasms in your arms so you need to keep your arm stabilized and be aware of that] But you can use it to connect with your subconscious mind, your higher self, spirits, guides, angels, astral beings, deities, so on and so forth.
