Working with Demeter?
By:
I recently found out that I have a deity reaching out to me, I was told it's Demeter, but I haven't any idea how to begin with any of it. I'd love some advice, someone mentioned meditation, but I suck at that and haven't any clue how to do it efficiently, so advice on that is welcome too.

I hope I put this in the right forum category.

A few things to think about doing. First, read up on Demeter, the myths about her, her celebrations, the offerings that were historically left for her. A good place to start is athttps://www.theoi.com/Olympios/Demeter.html

Secondly, you might consider creating an altar to her where you can make offerings to her, celebrate her rituals, and let her know that you wish to create an on-going relationship with her.

Thirdly, there is a wonderful book called "Devoted To You" by Judy Harrow that talks about how to connect with a Deity and then build a lasting relationship with them. https://www.amazon.com/Devoted-You-Honoring-Wiccan-Practice/dp/0806523921

Ah, I'll definitely take a peek when I can, I'm in the UK so shipping and customs can get a bit pricey too. I'll look around on used sites as well ^_^ thanks!
