Summoning Dantalion

Hello everyone! I am fairly new to witchcraft and I need help/advice/input in summoning the demon Dantalion but I have no clue how to go about it. What are his offerings? Has anyone ever worked with him before, please share your experience I am open to hearing about them (: I also have been told by a necromancer that I am a daughter of Pomba Gira and spiritually married to ESHU/Kalfou so I've also been researching about her... In the end my intent is to get my ex boyfriend back and I am willing and open about this!

Not sure if this helps with anything but I am Dominican!

Well, first of all, forget the idea that you are the child of Pomba Gira. We are all humans, not demi-Gods. And that's OK. Of course one could be the spiritual child of a Deity in that you follow the teachings and ways of that particular Deity.

Dantalion is from a totally different pantheon from Pomba Gira and Eshu so learning to work with him is going to require study and practice on your part. A good place to start is with the Key of Solomon which discusses a wide variety of demons and their characteristics as well as ways to safely summon them. (Remember, never summon up what you cannot put down.) You might also want to study the Goetia which again talks about working with demons.

Look, before you try to Summon anything, it's best to be Experienced in the Craft, and have started with sound Foundations in Grounding, Defense/Warding, and Divination.

Without the first two, you can't Summon anything. The third makes it a bit easier to determine if you really need to Summon anything.

Summoning is not a game. It's considered one of the more Dangerous aspects of Magick and is advised only for those who have acquired a significant Mastery over a majority of Topics in Magick. Many even believe you shouldn't try Summonings until you have Mastered all other aspects of the Craft.

Summoning is a serious matter.

And why would you want to Summon a Demon right off the bat anyway? Like much in Magick, you should have a good answer for Summoning any Entity, in general.
