Hello! I'm here to share some knowledge on how you can make crystal water using spring water and your crystals. Any crystal works, whether it be amethyst, quartz, turmaline, selenite, it does not matter. Turmaline is a great crystal for removing negative energy. Unfortunely, I gave one turmaline crystal to a friend, he thought it was plastic and threw it away. Foolish of me.
Anyhow, get your spring water, fill a cup and then pass the water into another cup. One thing I've learned is that you should never directly place the water you're gonna use into a cup. You pass it from a cup to another.
Place your crystals in the cup with the spring water. Let them sit there for roughly 10-15 minutes.
After the time has passed, remove the crystals with a spoon or if you prefer with your hand, if you don't mind getting your hands wet.
Drink the water. You should feel energetic and like your chakras just got rebalanced. Then you can return the crystals to it's original spot.

If you are submerging the crystals into the water, "any crystal works" does NOT apply. Especially crystals like selenite, which will dissolve in water. Other crystals may release harmful substances into the water and should not under any circumstances be consumed. Malachite, for instance, has a high copper content and should not be submerged in water, much less should that water then be consumed. It's important to do research on the hardness of a crystal and what makes up a crystal before submerging it in water and drinking it.
If you are going to be sharing your knowledge, make sure you're educated enough to not be potentially bringing harm to others.
to expand on what Jupiter138 said, you can still use such crystals if you keep them outside of the container. Simply having them near it should do fine.
Also, here is a list of crystals that can be harmful if ingested among other things. It's probably not complete, but it's still a good reference point to start from.
