Favorite Magic to Perform

Hello, I was wondering what everyone's favorite types of magic to perform are, and why?

I want to gain more insight onto why other practitioners perform magic so I can start to figure out that "why" for myself.

For me, I currently really like doing divination, specifically with my tarot deck. I enjoy this because it challenges me to reflect on my past and present actions, and show me the end results of my current path.

I'd have to say one of my favorite types to work with would be herbal magic. I love working with and connecting to the natural energies via the herbs and plants. It also, I feel, gives us a better understanding and appreciation of nature and the natural world.

I most commonly use herbs, petition papers, candles, and stones.

I also include oracle and tarot cards in workings especially regarding manifestation.

To further simplify I often cast protection, prosperity, or luck spells.

My current favorite method of magic are fire based (candle) luck spells utilizing crystals.

Magick takes many forms. It's energy you can program with your intention. In that regard, I typically do practical spells/magick. I set my intention while stirring tea, I add herbs to food while being mindful of their magickal properties, I dress in a way to attract what I desire, I clean my house mindfully, and so on. If I'm casting a spell, my go-to is typically candles or burning things. Potions are a close second, but I find candle spells rather simple, and the energy of the element adds to the urgency of my spell [since if I'm casting a spell, it means I need something now, whereas my daily magick is more for connection to the divine and daily upkeep of my magickal defences/glamours/enchantments]

Cosmic witchcraft. whatever the lunar, solar energies are or planets and aligning my looks, candles, home and protection connected with the energies to amplify the affects or dim the energies through wards etc.

My favorite magic, by far, is sigil-making and energy work. I love the creativity you can achieve with sigils, and energy work helps center me in the whirlwind of a life I'm in right now.
