I believe Hearthwitch just uploaded a video on energy sensing on her YouTube channel. I mention it because it recommends a technique that may help you.

Essentially the method you already use for sensing out of doors could be used indoors also.

It could also be you are very used to sensing out of doors or have had this through perhaps childhood and may not exactly be aware of how you are sensing things, or the technique you use.

Analyzing what you do when you sense energy out of doors can help you better understand your own process and you could seek to develop this as well for inside.

Hope you find this helpful.

That is actually right, because sense my childhood, i could sense a bit of energy when it came to outdoors, like a calming feeling coming from the moon, but that feeling grew stronger, as i learned more about magick, but i don't really know, how i am sensing things, and how to like sense energy indoors, because i tend to also, sense energy from like air, and the moon, and it just kinda feels calming and gentle, like a spring day, if that makes any sense, so i would like tips for it, sense i don't really know, how i am sensing energy in the first place.

I will look for a link to Hearth's video for you here in a moment.

I tried the technique she described in it indoors, and had some interesting results. I was able to see something from my past, the way an entity was described to me by a relative whom experienced similar things to I when we were young. And I sensed the feeling of something spiritual, there is no other word to explain how it felt. I have no immediate knowledge of what it may mean.

I have been experimenting with this technique and find it does help me to pin point some things, emotions especially.

I like yourself grew up sensing things. I too have an easier time with things out of doors. I get a sense from certain buildings.

I think it is important to remember when sensing things the information can come to us in different ways. With myself I see, feel and hear information, spirits, etc easier than I will taste, smell or just know things. So I imagine if someone has an easier time hearing information as opposed to seeing it, that perhaps how they receive information will be different than a clairvoyant.

I find the setting can make a difference for a few reasons. Natural places are more calming on the psyche, making it more pleasant and therefore easier to relax and focus. The rigid lines and square shapes of the indoors creates more of a feeling of separation than connection. The mindset is one of walls and floors and ceilings designed to be barriers against nature. Protective, but separating. Consider your basic concrete floor; twelve to sixteen inches of artificial, iron inlaid stone barricading you from the natural soil beneath.

The indoors also has more distractions, especially these days. TV, Radio, Computers, all putting out human voices which we are geared to automatically pay attention to. Bird calls are just sounds to us. Youtube videos of 'the seven most intimidating vodeogame bosses beaten in one hit' uses language and structure we actively need to process. Not to mention every electronic device in the home has a beep or honk or chime or little song it plays to let you know what it is doing.

Living in an apartment can also mean you are a few floors up, with other suites likely above and below you- directions people mentally reach out to for visualizations involving grounding or channeling. It can be a challenge to hold an idea like visualizing roots or a line of energy stretching down below you into the earth if that involves the possibility of going through someone else's bedroom.

Long story short, there are definitely a few factors as to why the indoors can feel separated or otherwise make connecting with energy feel more difficult. But the good news is that with some practice, a few adaptations, and maybe a small change or two of perspective one can learn to keep their connection/sensitivity more consistent.

For example;

-shut off distractions. No phone, music, or internet unless it is playing something specifically for your meditation.

2- open a window a crack to let natural sounds in, if you can.

3- Bring living plants into your home. They clean the air and smell nice anyways.

4- adapt your visualizations to the environment. Instead of going straight down when grounding, imagine throwing a cable out the window that drops all the way into the earth. Or connect with the building itself and follow the structure's own energy.

5- open up perspective; energy travels all across the galaxy, through matter and air and space, and it even -is- matter. So ask yourself why a few feet in one direction or the other should make a difference.
