So I have a question for you all about love spells. Lets say you dont really have the resources to do like a amazing love spell.
I have white candles because thats usually what we use around my household to do prayers. I wanted to do a love spell using the white candle although some might say its not really a good color for using it for love work.
My spell: carving the persons name into the candle and using my leftover rose petals, I crush them to sort of make it into a powder mixing it in with essential rose oil. I then write the persons name with a red marker or pen on a piece of brown paper bag (like the ones used to carry lunch in) and seal it with the wax, placing it right underneath the candle. Then I say a chant or prayer~
Any suggestions or maybe edits needed? Ah and also forgot to include I am seeing this person in 2 days sooo, I might get a hair or 2 from them. Dont know what I could use that for but seems pretty great for spell work just in case.
And I wouldn't worry about white not being a love candle.
White candles are my most often used because they can be used in any working really. I tend to do as you and add in herbs, petitions and oils to further specify my goal for the working.
I wouldn't recommend you edit anything. I think your spell is well thought out and a great example of practical spell writing.
Really it comes down to your intentions. The ingredients in the spell are just a aid in accomplishing or willing your desires to have a better chance of happening. The color of the candle generally is insignificant, use what you have. People often will utilize a specific color that can be associated with the spell (green for money, red for love etc..) but again, that is just a tool. Your intentions when casting or completing the ritual is what will be the true force in your spell. Your spell does not need to be complicated-and if you did do a complicated spell that'sfine too. I believe since it is written by you and performed by you, it has more value and significance than if you took a spell someone else did with the exact ingredients.
I wouldn't change anything. Just be focused and true with your intentions when casting. Good luck!
