Trying to find positives

Hi all,

I'm struggling with depression and anxiety, it affects my casting as I tend to not be able to let go after a spell or ritual is complete... Can anyone offer any advice on either helping me to ground myself after or before (or both)
Blessed be

Usually when grounding individuals utilize visualization.

When I ground I like to visualize roots from my feet growing down into the Earth. I then visualize the excess energy as a white light descending down through the roots and into the Earth. I then visualize bringing the roots back up to complete the visualization.

You might also consider contemplative meditation. Mindfulness meditation practiced 5 to 10 minutes a day to help you to relax.

Perhaps look into different types of meditations that may help. Perhaps a guided meditation could be of help.

Best wishes.

I, too, have anxiety and depression (among other things). One centering meditation that I use is I visualize myself as a pack of tarot cards and each card is an aspect of myself. I work with various versions of myself, so having a card sticking out is necessary at times. To center, I shuffle the cards and make sure the deck is lined up and in order. If I need, I visualize myself with a certain card on top of the deck, depending on what I need for the day. Want prosperity? I pull up a pentacles/coins card. Need courage and ability to fight something off? I pull up a swords card.

Hope this helps!
