Ouija Board

Ok so many will agree and disagree on using an Ouija board, I however am going to use one anyway.
So tips and things I should probably know like how I know when something is going bad ect, is what im particularly looking for.

So the reason im doing this is to contact the grim reaper in order to make a contract for a service which I wont reveal unless you ask in message. I was thinking of writing grim reaper on the Ouija board.

In my experience of this well I made contact with various spirits but never had any spells in place for a situation like banishing spells ect. But I figured an Ouija board was just a means as to communicate between spirits and people. So you can probably see why I have chosen as this the particular way. The spirits have tried to say things and ive asked questions but most of them ended up moving the arrow to BYE.

But now that im not as young as I was doing it Im not exactly sure why I did it without the much knowledge needed even before and after trying it so hopefully it can be a good experience in the near future with your help.
And also Thank you.

The "Grim Reaper" is a fictional/mythological creature that doesn't exist. You can't contact it, and you certainly can't make a deal with it. The "Grim Reaper" as we see it was believed to be personified during the black plague in Europe, a very long time ago. It is not a real entity. Nowadays it is used for entertainment purposes such as horror movies or cartoons.

There are many stories out there on the existence of the grim reaper and if not all spirits and dietys are not proven in this particular way are they? There is grim reaper rituals which state he can be summoned so I wouldnt dis-conclude that he is based on history as well as belief on a spiritual level.
On a personal level I love the grim reaper. If you ever had a dream of the grim reaper then I am sure its a dream that stands out and how Ironic that is.

Milkallama,

That is your personal opinion, while, you have the right to believe or not believe in it, you don't have the right to make is fact, as this has to do with the spiritual plane or the afterlife. While I'm not sure that you can contact death and highly doubt you can't make a contract or deals with this entity, I do believe its real in some way. As this entity has been around in some form since the beginning.

I am not meaning to offend, but people also believe that hollywood vampires and werewolves are real when they are not. The "Grim Reaper" is not real, and never has been. It's not a matter of belief, it's a matter of fluff. There are entities that control death, but there is no "Grim Reaper". A simple looking it up can answer that, it was a conception made during the plague. I fact checked the Grim Reaper and it's origin before even answering. My apologies, but not everything is real whether you believe it or not. I won't tell people what they want to hear.

https://www.britannica.com/story/where-does-the-concept-of-a-grim-reaper-come-from

Here, I found an article detailing that it was a concept. Think of it like time, we use it, but ultimately time is just a concept humans came up with as a measurement for where or what position we are in in space. That doesn't make it a real thing.

Some people believe deities are personifications of forces such as time- there have been gods and goddesses of time, one can connect with these beings in order to experience that force.

The Grim reaper is such a form which represents death and has been embedded into the Western collective unconscious for centuries.

Chances are Christ wasn't real either, but people still worship and have experiences of him. I doubt Osiris was ever present in Egypt but the same applies to him.

It all depends on what you perceive deities to be. I think using the ouija board to contact the grim reaper is a ridiculous method to use, but I don't dispute the fact that a being can come into existence through belief, and that certain forces are personified into beings so they can be tapped into.

You may not believe in a Grim Reaper, that's your business, but it does not mean it is not real. It is just not real in your understanding of the universe and based upon your experience. I am not one of them, but I am sure there are others who have had experiences and perceptions which differ your own. That is life.

By your logic, that means I can believe unicorns orcat-girls are real and suddenly they will be just from pure belief, but alright. I will not say anything further on the matter and waste my time anymore with nonsense.

The grim reaper, as named, may indeed be a historical creation. But many faiths and practices include an angel or other entity directly related to death. Though, typically the figure is less associated with the act of dying itself and more about the protection and guidance or carrying of souls from the plane of life to some form of afterlife.

So both sides are right, depending on perspective and application of concept.

That aside, when using an Ouija board legitimately you want to do a few things to make it safer. Like any magical process, and especially like any other time you open a doorway you want to be clear about what you are trying to accomplish, what you are trying to contact, and how you are prepared to send the entity away again.

To that end you may want to make a protective candle. Some say use one white and one black. Draw a rune or sigil of protection on it and empower it beford you even prepare for the ouija. I would suggest defining the candle as the symbol for the doorway, to be open only so long as the candle is alight. That way at the end of the session, after bidding the entity to leave in peace, you need only to snuff the candle to close the door.

Also, generally it is best to not set things up within the threshold of your home, as once invited in it is hard to send things out again. It would be wiser to set up in a quiet and solitary place outside if you can.

Finally, prepare mentally by evaluating what your goal is, and why. Meditation and centering to focus your thoughts and open access to your guides/guardians, the energies of the higher Self, etc is also useful. You want to maximise your sense of authority. Especially over yourself. The greater your sense of Self, the better protected you would be against attachments... or otherwise having things go awry.

Not really. As I said, the archetype wouldnhave to be ingrained into the minds of a large part of humanity, represent a force, and be addressed as a minister of that force. You will also find that these sort of images share many features with Gods from the past the scythe for example as a symbol of Saturn.

Unicorns have none of this, the only connection to historical magic they have is as a symbol in alchemical texts.

There are different levels of spiritual beings. If you think my theories ridiculous I suggest you research egregores, thought forms, and servitors. You will find many people who state these are what Gods really are, I do not. I believe people mistake them for gods and that is the case with the grim reaper.
