Help witch bottle broke

Witches bottles are designed to break, when their working is complete and they have done their job, but they are traditionally meant to be buried on properties rather than carried around. If it broke of its own accord then cleaning up the mess and creating a new one to replace it is how most people generally work around a broken bottle.

However, if the bottle has been broken by accident, I would simply clean up the mess, wash the backpack and create a new one, stored in a better location. Because of some of the acrid items that are put in traditional witches bottles, they aren't the best items to carry around as when they break it can get messy and very very smelly, as you have learned.

If the smell remains (all dependent on what items you added into the bottle) then you may need to use some incense smoke or sage, or a scent remover to help. but some items such as urine (which many people do add into more traditional bottles) may not come out so easily so you may need a new bag, depending on how bad the smell is after washing.
