Weird D?j? Vu Dreams?

So I’ve had these dreams of events that seemed to happen in real life, and they would happen from a week to a few months after I had the dream, and this has been going on since I was a little kid. I think it’s some kind of Déjà Vu, but does anyone have a deeper explanation or is it really just Déjà Vu?

I have the same experiences. I was wondering if there were others.
But to me it only happened a few times. I have no control over it.

I've had this happen too since I was very young. Sometimes it's just a small thing, other times it's more like a bigger event with more people involved. The little ones are usually just me doing something normal, when I'm in the exact right spot doing it I get a weird feeling, that Deja Vu feeling. I'll tell everyone around not to move or speak so I can try to analyze the feeling and hold onto it longer. But it never lasts long.

My dreams are of small things too, like getting on a plane and noticing an intricate patterned tattoo on someone’s hand, or walking down the next street and see my neighbors dog running loose. Sometimes it’s a big thing like an interview or getting home and realizing I left my phone or something at the store.

Many people experience minor precognitions such as this, but many dismiss it. My sister and I will point out ours fairly often. It is almost always something mundane, and we'll have dreamed about some snippet of a day some time before, usually within a couple weeks.

I don't think there's really an explanation, and as long as it remains in dreams and not something deliberately done, I'm not sure if there is a way to use it. It is an interesting experience, though, to say the least.

Perhaps, if one finds which ways work best for themselves, it might be possible to increase the frequency, clarity, or importance of these dream events.

I might, I've never really thought about it
