Selling your soul?

I've read on here and many other places about people selling there souls for what ever it is there after. Just wondering if its actually real or just hogwash.

I don't think it is possible to sell your soul, though I found a discussion that probably has the answers, if you want to check it out:

It is real but not in the sense most people think. It's more of a dedication, like dedicating yourself and your work to the specific diety like Satan or demons. You aren't actually giving away your soul for something, cello g your soul is more of a metaphor, than literal.
