This thread is going to be a place where we are going to discuss a magical topic every month. We are here to learn about certain things, how to do them. This is a place where we can do that. All of you can suggest topics to discuss throughout the discussion.
The topic we are going to discuss this month for March (I know its late, I was dealing with some personal stuff) is Grounding . What is grounding? From my experience grounding is a meditation technique that connects you to nature, helps to clear negativity, and excess energy. You can add some things while doing grounding like increasing your energy or power.
A basic grounding technique:
Go outside and find a a tree. Sit down with your back to the tree and criss cross apple sauce, or something that is comfortable, but your back still must touch the tree. Sit straight. Take three deep breaths, and listening to your surroundings. Now imagine roots going into the ground, spreading throughout the earth beneath you. Once you feel you are fully planted, imagine the Earth's energy going through your roots and up through you. All through your body, feel the energy, feel it removing blocks. And see/feel it absorbing energy into the earth's energy. Hold it there. A few basic extra add ons:
feel(the energy), hear(your surroundings), breath(in and out, and listen to your breath).
Then imagine the earth's energy going back into the earth(the soil) through the roots. And let the roots come back up into you, reconnecting with you. Breath three more times. Open your eyes.
Note: I imagine the roots coming from the bottom of my spine. But what ever feels right to you.
Also when you open your eyes it might be bright. And feel peace, etc.
There also might be some health benefits by doing this overtime.
Overall this is where you can learn magic that is associated with Natural magic. Jorune and I are coming up with more things to incorporate into Natural Magic. More magic topics will be addressed soon.
