Dream Help

Okay, so first things first, I've been out of the game for a while. I used to practice a lot when I was in college but with work added into the mix I just haven't found time to practice as much as I used to.

That might change today...

I've just woke up from one of the most spiritual dreams I've ever had. Now, the dream itself wasn't anything over the top, but the FEELING of the dream was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. I was excited, calm, happy, mournful, energized, and nervous all at once. I woke up feeling completely mystified and full of energy, more energy than I've had in a couple months or maybe even a year. I rushed to find a pen and paper because my dream recall definitely suffers and in just a few moments from waking up I could already feel myself forgetting the smaller details of the dream.

I don't remember the beginning of the dream but my memory starts with me being in the center of a large field that was surrounded by an even larger ring of trees. the field itself was wet and torn up, like it was being prepped for planting or like a lot of people had been walking/running around the area (sort of like the ground of a festival after the weekend was over) and there was a large mound in the center. There was a lot of vegetation on the mound and there was an opening just big enough to crawl under to go inside. Beside the mound was what looked like a woman with lines of teal and red body paint that ran along her entire body. They were wearing a White/grey wolf headdress/pelt. They did not speak, not in the traditional sense, it sounded like a female voice rang through my head, it wasn't a voice i'll probably ever forget either. The voice was soft, not childlike by any means but it definitely sounded like a young adult/adult female, but the voice was even, very firm and confident, almost stoic.

The only thing I remember being said was something that sounded like "Arishoka" or "Hirasoka" (Pron: are-e-show-kah/here-ah-so-kah) I tried looking for something along those lines as far as names but nothing turned up and obviously my spelling will be off because i'm just going by what it sounded like.

I remember climbing under the mound and then coming out covered in sweat and mud. I don't remember what I did in there but when I came out the woman handed me a large jaw bone of an animal, painted with a few stripes of the same color paint that the woman donned (teal/blue and Red) and something that ran along the top of the bone("top" being the part above the jaw bone where teeth would be), from one end of the longer portion of the bone to the other. I don't remember exactly what it was but it looked like either a string that was pulled taut or a thin blade. Looking it up it seemed like a deer jaw bone because of how flat and long they are, but it was really large, like, maybe a foot and a half from end to end.

-Now, I don't know if this is a deity trying to reach out and get me to practice again or just a weird dream, I thought that it might be The Morrigan but after looking up some other peoples dreams regarding them i'm not too sure, because a lot of the themes in their dreams aren't present in mine.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this! Any imput would be helpful since i'm just trying to figure some stuff out. Feel free to ask any questions you may have (on here or PM) as well since i'm not the best at explaining things.

Well, it seems your dream definitely carries a strong sense of rebirth at the very least. As for the rest, unfortunately nothing is coming directly to mind that would help.

The scenery, process, dress, and symbols all smack of a shamanistic/animistic tepresentation. Particularly it feels celtic to me. But that is just surmisings on my part. I might suggest looking into possible goddesses or beings of the earth that represent rebirth and new beginnings. Ignore the name for now, go by image and the overall process of the 'ritual' of symbolic death, trial, and rebirth.

The name itself might even be one being presented to you as a mantle or personal spirit/magic name to be accepted if you choose to. I am wondering... if it is a name it might be an amalgamation of a couple words as well. Or rooted in a magical symbolism like runes. I would compare the sounds with other root words to see what compares. You might also be able to get a general sense of the energy behind the words through some numerology. It might prove interesting. I have a link into a pretty good calculator based on Linda Goodman's interpretation of chaldean numerology. It's in my profile if you want to take a gander.

Thank you so much! You’ve brought me a lot of information and brought a lot of really good ideas to my attention that I’ll have to think about. I definitely agree with the whole shamanistic/animistic/celtic vibes. I’ll take a look into all your points and do quite a bit more research. I’ll also take a look at that link and see if anything smacks me in the face as far as a realization goes. I can say this has at least gotten me back in to practicing, whether or not this is deity related. I just don’t want to ignore anything especially since it definitely FEELS deity related.
