I have lately been feeling very bored with my life and was wondering if anyone had any spells or ideas in general that would make something happen to me or my life.

Thanks in advance

The first thing that comes to mind is a Chaos spell. Shake things up a little. Thing is, with a chaos spell you would have to really cover your behind because a lot more could happen than you want. You don't want to lose your home or anything crazy like that.

The other, safer, option is to make a sigil and burn/bury it outside, asking for more variety in your life.

You could try, perhaps, a mundane approach to this problem. We do not need magick to fix all our problems, as we can fix them easily, at times.

We all go through periods of boredom or stagnant periods in our lives. To fix this problem you should entertain yourself. Do things that bring you joy and excitement.

Sometimes the best way to fix a problem, is the simple way.

What Agiel said. First the mundane, then magic :) The chaos magic would be the last thing on your list.

I am reminded of a saying a friend of mine once used that applies to situations like this.

"In spirit, the events we encounter are like candy. They are enjoyable and exciting to obtain... but carry little nutrition."

Sometimes specific events can create a sense of forward motion... of epiphany or at least progress. But for most people, most of the dramatic, rapid changes usually happen when first beginning your journey. It is a major life change. There are topics to study, things to learn, every experience is new. But like with any change one normalizes to things. The new evolves into routine and, while still there, it doesn't draw the attention like it once did.

One of the early lessons is to learn to develop an attitude of letting go of the need to be surprised or excited. Appreciate it when it is there... but don't rely on it as your sole reason for growth.

Besides. As another saying goes "while in shallow(or young) minds the tadpole of discovery churns the surface into a storm. In the deep minds of a sage the great whales of thought cause hardly a ripple."

As you develop in your understanding even meaningful discoveries become tempered and, while having great value, cease to cause such a disturbance to one's much more solid foundations.

The trick? Be patient, learn at every opportunity, and remember to constantly tea h yourself to see the wonder in even the simplest of things. Trust that little by little the learning is adding up and will, like the constant and invisible build of pressure at a fault line, eventually release all at once and make itself known.

Fetch wood, carry water.
Gain enlightenment.
