Stereotype Witches

Green Witches - Normally originated from the Wizard of Oz; if not there, then I'm out. xD

Ugly Witches - Not all witches are ugly. Dx

Witches are Warty - Not really; we're really just like any other person; we get warts from time to time. =P

Witches Decend from the Devil - Ohhh I'm sooo sorry but you got that answer wrong. The correct answer is: We're just like any other mortal except with extraordinary powers!

Witches are Evil - Not all witches are evil; only some.

Witches Have Wands - We can, but we found it much more useful to use our mouths instead.

Witches Have Grotesque Items - Wrong again; we have items that are grotesquely NAMED. Eye of the Newt? A flower. xD

Witches Have Flying Broomsticks - Wrong again! But we can have flying broomsticks with new: "Flying Ointment"! (Pleasetalktoyourdoctorforanysideffectslikeheadsexplodingswellingupandnastywarts). Call now at 000-000-FLYINGOINTMENT

Witches Cackle - We can, buuut, we prefer not to. Just so the neighbors don't get suspicious...

Witches Have Cauldrons - We can, buuut, we prefer not to. Now we use a new thing called Bowls! Ohhh! Ahhh!

Witches Wear Cloaks - We can, buuut, we prefer not to. Y'know, these fluffy sweaters are quite comfortable...

Witches Can Only Be Women - WRONG!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WROOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!! We can be men too! It's just that we prefer to be called warlocks/wizards... but witches are OK.

Witches Hate Mortals - Sorry, but, *buzzer* NO!!!!!! There's not enough witches in the world, so we use all new: MORTALS! To mortals, they call themselves people.

That's all the stereotypes I know of; I'm pretty sure there's more. Hope you had a little giggle or laugh!

Sorry but the wand thing and the cauldrons are wrong. Some people do actually use cauldrons, that's pretty common among Wiccans. I think they normally use them to burn incense and such. A lot of witches use wands. It's personal preference. Wands made with certain woods can help in some situations though.
THe Witches coming from the devil is a Christian thing. We don't have extraordinaary powers, everyone can do this stuff, they just choose not to.
Witches do wear cloaks. Cloaks are good for using in rituals but they're more commonly called robes. Witches wear black robes because black absorbs energy and the hat(not all cloaks have hats) centers the energy.
The world witch pertains to both men and women. Pop culture has made it so only women can be called witchs. Also the word warlock is sometimes used to refer to people who have turned away from the craft.
