I am doing a candle spell "come to me" with an encased candle.
I am a beginner so I would like some insight on candle reading.
I cut a little bit of the wick before I light it. At first the wick was ok and then it turned into a knot in a heart shape.
I let the candle continue burning. The knot split on its own into three parts and it started looking like a fan. It also had a fourth part in the middle that was pointing my direction and was starting to roll into a circle.
The next day I lit my candle the fan was still there for a while and then it mysteriously disappeared. The fourth part of the wick was still attached and going in a circle.
I couldn't watch the candle anymore and I decided to put it out. I let the plate on top of the candle for a moment and left the room. When I returned the weird part of the wick had disappeared and the wick looks perfect with no knots or nothing weird.
What does this mean? Is it all good?
I think that trimming the wick in the beginning was a big mistake because it made the flame smaller than what it would had been.
Plus the way I cut the wick it seems that it influenced its shape.
Today it has bended in half. The flame is still on but it's not as high (it's not small either).
I put some other candles (decorative) next to my candle and it looks that the candles in my house are being burnt really slow. In comparison with the other candles the rate that it burns is normal.
Another question. The candle has no soot. But when it started it had a very thick wax ring and a big piece of wax stuck.
I am trying to find information on how to read the wax on the walls of the candle and all I find is the same information about the soot, the size of the flame etc.
It looks like everyone has copy pasted the same article just changed it a bit the words lol.
Does anyone know any free resources (links) that I could learn more about reading the candle wax on my candle?
