I need a strong warding spell I can cast over an area so no spirit or entity that's not invited can enter said area. And a spell that will compel other people not to enter the area.

With warding/protection spells it is important to remember Karma and keep a sense of mindfulness. Make sure that your intention for the spell is to protect, not to do any harm. With that being said, here is a spell for warding.

Materials you will need:
-A bowl/glass of water (or something to represent the element of water.)
-A bowl of salt/dirt (or something to represent the element of earth.)
-Incense (or something to represent the element of air.)
-A candle (or something to represent the element of fire.)
-A bowl of a mixture of herbs for protection. This can be plain salt or can include, but does not need, pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, clove, cinnamon, rosemary, chamomile and licorice.

This spell is best done on a waxing or full moon, but can be done anytime you would like :)

1.) Go to the space in which you would like to ward.

2.) Set up the items that represent the elements in the corresponding positions in your space. Light the candle.

3.)Turn to the east, putting your hands on or over the item, and say "Direction of East, elements of air, I invite you to assist in this spell."

4.)Turn to the south, putting your hands over the item, and say, "Direction of South, elements of fire, I invite you to assist in this spell."

5.)Turn to the west, putting your hands on or over the item, and say "Direction of West, elements of water, I invite you to assist in this spell."

6.)Turn to the north, putting your hands on or over the item, and say "Direction of North, elements of Earth, I invite you to assist in this spell."

7.)Feel free to call upon any spirit guides, animals, familiars, deities that you work with.

8.)Face the east once more and ground yourself. Hold your bowl of herbs and focus on it while saying this spell three times,
"This is the spell that I intone,
protection and warding, like thread is sown,
against all unwanted guests,
with harm to none,
so mote it be."

9.) Thank the four elements and directions in the opposite way that you invoked them. Blow out the candle.

10.) Keep the bowl of herbs in the space (if this is not possible than its alright, the spell will work just the same.)

Your space will now be warded from anyone or anything that you do not want around!

Hi!

The account of the person who posted the spell seems to have been deleted, so they won't be able to answer you. However, my understanding of this spell seems to indicate that it's for a single room. If you wanted to ward an entire house with this spell, you would probably want to place the bowls and such in the appropriate corners of the house. It's the same spell but on a grander scale.

Personally I use a canning jar to put my herbs and salt in for each corner of my home. This way the mixture is sealed and will not become dusty or spill. I feed these jars energy and check them from time to time when my intuition moves me which is often while I'm cleaning/cleansing my home. I know by it's energy that the mixture is in need of replacement, as it can feel off or flat sometimes even heavy. Occasionally the salt becomes a yellowish color over time. I believe this is a sign that the jar absorbed/trapped/handled some negative energy, essentially doing it's job.

The aspect of this spell with the elements does not have to be done at each corner or direction along the outside wall. This can be done in a central location with the corresponding directions setting on an altar. As you cast in each direction see in your minds eye the pillar/corner/direction being on the outside wall or in the yard of your dwelling. I also recommend casting a circle within your home but as you cast project it's circumference to that outside wall or in the yard. This creates your bubble to manifest the ward within. I also suggest adding stones or crystals to the ward mixture. One may even set a stone or crystal on top of the jar or around it. Adding a piece of paper with sigils, symbols, or seals created with dragon's blood ink on preachment to the herb mixture may increase the wards energy.

Many Blessings,

Katie
