Sleepy after meditation?
By:
Today I meditated for the first time in a while, it was only 5 minutes, but afterward, I felt really tired. Is this a normal side affect or is this something else? I get a good night's sleep and I can't think of any other reasons for me to be tired.Thank you for any answers you might have for me.

your physical body becomes very relaxed during meditation and can therefore make you tired. It is important to practice meditation without falling asleep, though. It is also common for your body to fall asleep whilst meditating, but for your mind to still be awake. Meditation requires for you to relax your body and detach from it ( and from the psychical all around you) and teach your higher states of conciousness within the mental/spiritual realms.
Practice meditation for as long as you can without falling asleep, but it is normal to feel like you need a nap afterwards.

nothing wrong, you're just relaxing. you relax your body, breath differently, and get your crazy monkey mind to slow and focus, so your body had a chance to slow the multitasking. you should feel calm, relaxed, even content by the end. you're fine.
