Rhyming Spells?

So, I'm a little curious. I've noticed that a lot of spells tend to rhyme and was wondering about everyone's opinion on this. Should spells rhyme? Do they work better that way?

Personally, my opinion is that it doesn't matter whether a spell rhymes or not, but I would like to know what everyone thinks of this subject! :)

I don't think it matters, rhyming spells is just another way, but completely different in word wise.

Spells don't have to rhyme; however, rhyming makes it easier to memorize and remember the spell for when you are actually casting it.

What Lark said - rhyme has been used for a very long time to make things easier to remember. That and for people who like to be more creative prose is a nice outlet for that in spellwork.

Aside from that, just for some general information, spells don't work better one way or another. As you gain experience you'll find there's more and more times they don't rhyme, and depending what you're doing there's times where you don't even necessarily need to use words.
