I wanted to share my three most favorite songs in the whole wide world of this year. Like they are addictive and hard to top. I find a lot of personal truth in them as well as power. I think they are good ways to both raise energy and good for devotionals. Sometimes nice people need to channel their inner asshole.

Learn to say no, stand up for yourself when someone is being disrespectful to you, etc. They will try to play the victim when you do this. You will be painted as a monster, meanie, villian, and bad guy. But the people who know you will stand by you. They will not believe lies told to them by others because they know the sort of person that you are. So if standing firm makes me a bitch, I'm proud to be one. Call me what you like, it changes nothing.

Emotional manupilation will not work on me. This is a life lesson I struggled to learn for like the first twenty years of my life. I always wanted to be the good girl and never ever say anything to hurt anyones feelings. But you have to remember if you speak truth you have nothing to feel bad for. People choose how to feel and how to react. I do not condone bullying but I also believe people should be held responsible for their actions and reactions. If you choose to be overly sensitive to words, a lot of times that is on you.

So my point is, if you wear the title proudly...it cannot hurt you anymore or be used against you. So the power once held over you then becomes your strength. What they used to control you and keep you docile and in your place cannot be done anymore. Sometimes it can be hard to stand up for yourself when in doing so you fear losing some of the people around you. But it's important to remind yourself that if they walk away that easily...were they really worth holding on to? Were they ever really your friend at all, or were you just convient for them at that time?
