I don't know why you conflate the existence of a religion -- Wicca -- with science-fiction -- teleportation. You might as well say your car has a warp engine because Christianity exists.
Scarlet, physical teleportation with magick is impossible as magick runs on our energy. Physical teleportation would take much more energy than an average human can possess. Maybe if you took all the people in the world and somehow make them lend you their energy for your spell, it could work (you'd also require the help of some deities though). But without a huge source of energy (and I mean a really huge source), physical teleportation and transformation won't work
Ah, but astral projection and teleportation are two different things.
Astral projection lets your astral, non-corporeal body, travel to other places. Teleportation would be when your actual physical body could travel instantly to another place (like Star Trek). There is a huge difference between the two. Astral projection is certainly possible and can be learned by any who wish to. But there is no scientific evidence to support the idea that physical teleportation is possible except at the quantum atomic level.
Magick runs off belief, with belief anything is possible. There will always be neigsayers out there. Go with what you feel. And I'm sure that some people on this site will send all sorts of "you're wrongs" at me. I just let them phase right through me. With anything *practice makes perfect*

Magick doesn't run off belief, RavenShadoww. Belief in magick is important [why do anything if you don't believe? If you don't believe in vampires, you wouldn't keep holy water in your house "just in case"] Magick is a force of nature. Your belief in it doesn't make it real or not [similar to gravity, you might not believe in it, but it won't stop working because of it] Magick on the physical is limited by nature because it is part of nature. If a spell contradicts nature, it won't work. That is the rule on the physical plane when it comes to magick.
As MoonFury said, you can try astral projection, but as Lark pointed out, it's not the same as teleportation. AP is your astral self suddenly appear in another country, teleportation is your physical self suddenly appearing in another country. Teleportation contradicts nature, AP does not. While teleportation would be cool, the reality of the situation is you can only do AP. This isn't to discourage you from trying but to shift your focus to studying something that is possible. [if you still want to try teleportation, go for it, just don't be discouraged when nothing happens]
Teleportation is the physical movement of matter from one place to the other without said matter moving an inch physically. Like moving to another country without walking an inch.Occurs on the Physical realm (or the Mortal Realm, as some call it. All the beings you can see with human eyes, unless you have an open and developed third eye, are on the Physical Realm)
Astral Projection (AP)is a bit more complicated, since there are different theories on it. But the two I know and think are likely to be true are:-
1. Your essence is comprised of two parts. The Spirit, and the Soul. The Spirit, unlike the soul, is not lodged into your body and can be moved freely if the correct steps are taken (this is Astral Projection, otherwise known as AP if you're confused)
2. Your conscious mind does not have to be permanently connected to your physical body. It can (or at least, this theory suggests it can) move freely if the correct steps are taken.
In both cases, you are mentally transitioning into a different realm for some time before returning to your own body, involuntarily or voluntarily. Teleportation in the astral realm is quite possible, but it only happens on the astral, and does not move your physical body. Please note that if you attempt this, use protection spells or prayers to deities to protect your body from negative spirits. Do the same with your astral form if you must, but don't waste too much energy. It's said that imaginig things(results of spells mostly) happening in the astral realm gives more power to spells in the physical realm, thus increasing the speed and efficiency of the spell and gaining better results
teleportation is not posible in the physical world. astral projection is the lite bond/soul that can travle without the physical body. thats the short version.
