Death of a pet

Our 18 year old baby boy cat passed away this morning. He was very special to us, and we will miss him so much. I performed a death ritual, and we will be burying the body shortly.

This makes two of our boys we have lost in a short time. It really grieves my heart. :(

I know it is hard to lose a pet that you have had for along time. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Thank you. I've been crying all morning, now I just feel numb.

Awe, Vicki, it's hard to lose something you love. A pet is part of the family. Because you had them, they were loved, and they knew that. Feel happy that you gave that to them, the happiness of having a special human. Grieve as you need, but don't let it hold you back. It a while, it may be time to give another a chance at human love. My pets came to me, literally. When my dog died, a cat arrived. And it was bound and determined to be ours, as it would not let go of the window screen! lol Be at peace, they are. And be thankful for the love you shared between you and them.

Awww im sorry for your lost, i know what its like to loose a pet. I lost a chinese dwarf hamster last year and it was hard. Cause held her in my hands while she was still trying to breath her last breath :(

But i know that she will be much happier and hamster heaven. I have lost a few pets here and there. But i know will always keep them in my memories and heart. I hope things get better for you and many blessings to you and family.

I am so sorry to hear that. For such small creatures they leave such huge holes in our heart with their passing. Hugs!

Thank you. I cried myself into a headache last night, but I feel a little better this morning.

Our other kitties know, and are acting different. Definitely not acting like themselves. Rabbit (she has no tail), is laying right next to me, and she never lays in this spot. They are all sweet babies.
