I need info on nephilim

Hey a friend of mine is studying the topic of nephilim and wanted me to provide some info for him. While I know a good amount about them I lack any good informational links. Here is all the topics my friend is looking for, mostly in reference to the term nephilim: nephilim, caananites, cain, the dragon(naphilim), the philistines, phoenecians, ancient near eastern culture, the mark of cain, ionians (or any other reference to mediteranian culture or so called giants)

Any information especially links would be appreciated.

Look into the Book of Enoch, that is one of the original references to them. The Nephilim were the monstrous offspring of the Angels and man when a few of the Angels (who afterwards were called the Watchers and banished from Heaven), married and slept with woman because they were beautiful. The resulting offspring then had children of their own and after a few generations the monstrous offspring began tearing at each other, their war bloodied the entire Earth until God had to send the flood to wash away the blood and the kin of the Nephilim from the Earth.

It mentions a few of the Watchers as well, some of them taught Astrology, divination, medicine, sorcery and the like, all very much forbidden knowledge that they were not supposed to speak of.

Anyway, the Book of Enoch has more of the details, including the generations of Nephilim before their mass extinction from the Flood, and I hope this was helpful. Best of luck!
