Amulets

In the past couple months, my amulet has broken twice, including one time last week. When it first broke, I was told that it meres my emotions, and will only break when I am effected by negivive feelings. However, my emotions seem currently in balance, so I've begun to wonder if there's something wrong with the amulet itself. I've started searching for new ones, but idk if they'll be as effective as the one I've always had. I don't know if I should go ahead and buy a new, less-breakable amulet, or just keep repairing my old one whenever it breaks. Is this something to be concerned about, or should my amulet stay stable for a while?
