Do you work with any deities? If so which ones and why? If not then why?

I have worked with many deities, which sort of makes me need a list of the gods I need to thank through special occasions. The main gods I have worked with are the Horned God, and Aset, for they have shown themselves to be like my spiritual parents. Then gods like Apollo, Bast, Artemis, Zeus, Hecate, Odin, Danu, and many more have been willing to work with me when I asked for them, though not all I would exactly say I have worshipped properly. I usually work with these gods, as well as a variety of spirits, because they offer things that can help me or a certain situation, so I gather what I can offer and go from there.

I do not work with any deities. The easiest explanation is that im basically atheistic. I don't vie there being any all powerful entities, though I do believe there are entities that are more powerful than myself. if anything its the definition of deity I have a problem with. Also in my practice I prefer to rely on myself rather than getting help from others.

I used to be of a similar mind myself Vosh; in some cases I still am of a similar mind. I rank deities as stronger than most spirits/entities including humans. It's part of why I use "work with" instead of worship. I still perform worship towards some of my deities, but I tend to work with them more often as my religion/spirituality is two folded; there is personal peity and a state religion. In my practices the personal part is more important.

I do work with the Netjeru (Kemetic deities), specifically Serqet, Sekhmet-Mut, and Yinepu as they are in my line up, but I also have relationships with Hethert, Aset, Heru-wer, Set, and some lesser known gods like Nebethetepet. Something about the Netjeru simply does me well. :3

I used to work with some Heathen deities as well, Loki, Odin, Angrboda, etc, however I have since moved away from that due to various experiences with them.

I work with three deities in particular usually,Diana, Aradia and Macha. Diana and Aradia are important goddesses in my religion which is stregheria and also because Diana is queen of the fairies according to my beliefs that is. Macha and I share something in common a love for horses, freedom and nature. My shrine is often set up for her. Diana is queen of the fairies, moon goddess, protecter of Lake Nemi, and mother of all the streghe. Aradia is her daughter and the first of all srega.

Also Stregheria isn't well known and I'd love to make a thread about it if anyone is curious.

I can tell you about it sometime if you want ^.^

I'd love that. I get the "Italian Witchcraft" bit, but I feel that individual cultures view magic just differently enough to make a huge difference in how they practice.
