To let people know what moon phrase it is. There are two crescent moon phrases. The waxing crescent and the waning crescent.

I believe that this article will explain the importance of the moon, its different phases, and what the moon calender on the site is for.

Ouh thanks but what are waning cresent and waxing cresent? And for what that so different? (sorry I am not witch but in here maybe I will be become a amateur witch.. :D)

well no matter what your religion everyone believes that the moon holds some type of energy and the different phases of the moon mean different points and peaks of energy for different beliefs. There is also the fact that many people practice astonamy and divination and the moon phase really helps with those.
