Taking over a Coven...

I think I'm ready to take over a coven. How do I know when I'm ready enough to take one over, and get accepted? If I'm not ready, and I try to take one over, then I lose a chance at being a coven leader. Can anyone help me?

Once your account qualifies you can apply. Online covens are treated differently than an offline one. After you apply its a waiting game, so post information, help others, stuff like that, to help your chances of being chosen to run a coven.

In order to be considered to take over a coven you first need to show that you are a knowledgeable and active member of this site. Showing that you know what you're talking about magically, helping others, behaving in a mature manner, and being active on a consistent basis are all things that Pet is looking for when he decides who is to lead a coven. And even then there is no guarantee that you will be selected. But you have a better chance if you pay attention to those things I talked about.

May I also put out there that pushing to be a coven leader is one of the surest ways I know on this site to guarantee that you'll never be one. Just saying.

Well for that you need to have a knowledgeable reputation on this site.
In order to attain that you will have to take part in group discussions, answer to people's questions, help others in this site,and when the moderators will feel that you're actually intelligent and helpful, they will themselves give you a reputation

I dont think that you have to have a knowledgeable reputation in order to lead a coven. Some priest/priestess here dont have a knowledgeable reputation but they are leading a coven. It means the reputation is not really necessary but intelligence and leadership.

"Knowledgeable" and "Adept" are not needed to take over a coven, as they are just reputations, it depends on if the Moderators think you have the ability and knowledge to take over the coven, but the reputations can help your process.

For example if you apply to take over the; Practical Witches coven, you will need to prove to the moderators that you can handle the power that comes with being incharge of that coven and keep that coven going. This can be done by posting knowledgeable threads in the forums or in the chat.

Also in order to even apply to take over any coven you must have been on this site for at least 3 months.
